2011-12 PA STATE BUDGET CUT NONPROFIT IMPACT SURVEY (RESULTS)

In late 2011, United Way of Pennsylvania conducted a survey of over 800 nonprofits across the Commonwealth to asses the impact of state budget cuts.

Results include:

• 69 percent of agencies received a funding cut in 2011-12 state budget.
• 80 percent of agencies report conditions related to the economy have increased demand for services.
