Shannon Shaffer
Shannon Shaffer, who began her position as Director of Finance and Administration with the United Way of Pennsylvania in January 2023 is an experience accountant with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit and profit accounting. Prior to joining the United Way of Pennsylvania, Shannon was the Director of Finance and Administration for Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation, Assistant Controller of Foundation and Special Projects at Westmoreland County Community College, an Accountant at Southwestern PA Human Services Inc., and an Accountant for Waste Management Inc.
Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shippensburg State University where she majored in Accounting and minored in History.
