Greene County United Way prioritizes education, financial stability, and health & wellness programs as well as emergency and crisis services.
Our Programs
Offers
Greene County children, from 0 to 12th grade, access to school supplies, athletic shoes, new-to-you clothing, haircuts, and free dental and eye exams as well as connections to family resources and financial planning. Connects volunteers of all ages to a variety of opportunities in our community. With our Virtual Volunteer Center, individuals and/or groups can explore activities from 17 non-profit organizations, easily register for reoccurring or one-time projects, track hours, and verify community service with a couple quick clicks. The GCUW Community Builders course offers networking and training for emerging and existing leaders within Greene County. This course will educate, empower, equip, and prepare participants to be committed and passionate Board Members and influential community leaders. A collaboration of non-profit agencies devoted to the betterment of Greene County and its citizens through the support, education, and engagement of our charitable community. The Partnership aims to enhance the impact of organizations who are committed to making a collective difference and encouraging the continued growth of our county.
