Internet and Water Assistance Programs Available
There are two new utilities programs that eligible PA residents can take advantage of:
On December 31, the FCC launched the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households. There is also an available $100 discount for devices. Learn more about the ACP and apply here.
On January 4, Pennsylvania launched the new Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP), which helps eligible families who have overdue water bills or are at risk of losing water service for their home. This program provides grants that do not need to be repaid. Learn more about LIHWAP and apply here.
