Celebrating 211 Day

Real People. Real Support. Real Connections.

On February 11, we celebrate PA 211 Day — and the real people behind the calls, texts, and chats for help happening every day across Pennsylvania.

In 2025, PA 211 provided 743,631 referrals to individuals and families in need — an increase of more than 79,000 over the previous year. Behind each referral is a story: a parent trying to keep the heat on, a senior choosing between groceries and medication, or a family searching for stable housing. More and more, callers are facing multiple, layered challenges at once — and on the other end of the line is a trained Resource Navigator ready to listen and connect them to help.

This year also marks important momentum, with Governor Shapiro proposing an increase in state funding for PA 211 in the 2026–27 budget. Sustained state partnership is essential to maintain service across all 67 counties and ensure that when Pennsylvanians reach out, someone is there to answer. Happy 211 Day!
