Susquehanna Valley United Way mobilizes communities to action so all can thrive. Serving Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union Counties, we focus on four key areas: Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency. Together with our partners and neighbors, we’re building a stronger, more hopeful future for all.
Vision
Susquehanna Valley United Way is an organization of community volunteers that lead, inspire, and mobilizes individuals and contributes to providing solutions to essential health and human services issues to improve the quality of life for people in our counties.
Our Programs
nited Way is continuing our partnership with Bucknell University Education Department to offer virtual tutoring sessions to K-12 students in the Susquehanna Valley.
The program offers tutoring in the following subjects:
- Reading/Early Literacy
- Math
- Science
- Literature/English
- History

The VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program provides FREE Federal, State, and Local tax preparation and filing by Certified IRS Tax Preparers for individuals and families in our area. Learn More.
