Vision

Our vision for Chester County is a community where all residents have the opportunity to achieve a vibrant and healthy quality of life.

Key Focus Areas

Chester County United Way is committed to creating meaningful, lasting change for those who need it most in Chester County. Last fiscal year, we proudly invested nearly $1.6 million in our community through grants to agencies, special initiative funding and donor designations. Below is a brief overview of our impact:

• 132,177 Chester County residents were assisted through our programs and partnerships
• 3,677 tax returns were prepared through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA), generating an economic impact of over $4.2 million
• 58 successful Mobile Home Tax Reassessment appeals were completed, pushing the total reassessments to 1,110
• 286 individuals received financial coaching, counseling, and other supportive services from our Financial Stability Center
• More than 85 local organizations were funded through grants and donor designations to help strengthen our community
• 22 students graduated from Leadership Chester County and gained valuable business, leadership and entrepreneurial skills
• $254,000 was raised for our Community Impact & Innovation Fund and food insecurity programs through special events, Live United in Music & Chester County Stronger Golf Classic
• 47 unique organizations utilized our new building space, saving them an estimated total of $92,566 in rental fees and related expenses
