When and where is the 2026 Northeast Regional Conference?
The 2026 Northeast Regional Conference will be held June 1-3, 2026 in Bethlehem, PA at the Wind Creek Bethlehem, in partnership with United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
Where can I find the program schedule?
The Program Schedule will be announce on the NERC Webpage in the coming weeks. If you are interested in presenting at the conference or submitting an idea, please submit an RFP by January 30.
How much does the conference cost?
Early Bird (ends March 2): $350
Full Registration after March 2: $450
One Day Registration: $200
NERC Stipends
Conference stipends are available thanks to the generous support of United Way Worldwide. To help offset conference-related expenses, stipends of $500 or $250 will be available to the first 300 eligible United Way attendees.
Stipends will be issued to the local United Way (not individuals) as a lump-sum payment after the conference and may be used to cover any conference-related expenses. Receipts are not required; however, conference attendance will be verified.
What are the eligibility requirements for the stipends?
– Attendees participating in the full conference may be eligible for a $500 stipend.
– Attendees participating in one day of the conference may be eligible for a $250 stipend.
– The local United Way must be in good standing with United Way Worldwide. If you have questions about your current standing, please contact UWW through their online questions form.
What happens if there are more or fewer than 300 eligible United Way attendees?
The NERC planning committee will closely monitor registration and finances. If additional funds become available to support more stipends or higher amounts, an announcement will be shared with attendees.
How will I know if stipends are still available?
The NERC website will be updated regularly to indicate whether stipends remain available.
When can local United Ways expect to receive their stipend checks?
Stipend checks will be mailed after the conference, once all conference payments have been fully reconciled.
NERC Scholarships
Can I apply for more than one scholarship category?
Yes, applicants may apply for multiple scholarship categories where applicable but is only eligible to receive one scholarship.
Can more than one individual in my United Way apply for a scholarship?
Yes, however scholarships will be limited to one per local United Way.
When will applicants be notified of scholarship decisions?
Applicants will be notified of their scholarship status by March 16.
What happens if I am not selected for a scholarship?
Applicants who are not selected will still be eligible for early-bird registration rates.
