Kemi Ekunkoya

Kemi began her career with United Way of Pennsylvania and PA 211 as the Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) Project Manager in August, 2022. Prior to joining UWP, Kemi worked for the New York City Department of Health on health equity issues for women of color. Her work in Nigeria, Africa, also involved providing care to people living with HIV. She is passionate about health equity and providing access to care to bridge disparity in health care. Kemi is also involved in user experience evaluation research to determine the needs and pain points of the people served to ensure optimized service and impact. In addition to earning her MPA in Health Policy & Management from NYU Wagner School of Public Policy, she holds three Master’s degrees from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, in Project Management, Health Informatics & Data Analytics, and Human-Centered Interaction Design.
