Shambhavi Punjala
Shambhavi is a University of Pittsburgh graduate with degrees in Biology and Sociology. Her background includes previous AmeriCorps service, policy and voter engagement internships, and work as a certified nursing assistant.
During her year of service, Shambhavi will help UWP develop and launch Connect-PA, a new digital equity resource hub that will connect Pennsylvanians to affordable internet access, devices, and digital skills training. She’ll work closely with PA 211, Round4, and partners like the Keystone Internet Coalition, supported by funding from Comcast and Verizon.
