Communities are strongest when we come together to better understand local needs and work toward shared solutions. Join community organizations, local leaders, elected officials, and partners from across the region for this free half-day Impact Summit focused on two powerful tools for community change: understanding ALICE and reimagining the role of PA 211 in our communities.

Together, we’ll explore the challenges facing hardworking households, examine emerging trends in community needs, and discuss how data, partnerships, and coordinated action can strengthen health, financial stability, and opportunity for all.

Hosted in partnership with United Ways across Northern, Central, and Western Pennsylvania and PA 211, this collaborative event is free to attend and includes lunch. We hope you’ll join the conversation.

This session will explore how organizations, funders, and community leaders can use 211 data to identify emerging trends, uncover service gaps, strengthen partnerships, and make more informed decisions.

Nearly 4 in 10 Pennsylvania households are struggling to afford to make ends meet. What does that look like in your community, and what does it mean for local businesses, schools, nonprofits, local government, and the economy? Join us as we explore the latest ALICE data, uncover emerging trends, and discuss how you can use these insights to make informed decisions, build stronger partnerships, and create lasting change.

It’s the end of the month and your budget is almost gone. You can only afford one. Which would you choose? Impossible Choices is an interactive, thought-provoking activity that puts you in the shoes of an ALICE household. In this real-life-inspired simulation, participants face a month of tough budget decisions, balancing essentials while navigating unexpected expenses.
