  • Topic: Releasing Defensiveness, Confronting Microaggressions, and Engaging in Changing Attitudes        

This peer cohort will focus on sharing strategies and collaborating to implement concrete strategies to complete the following goals:

  • Building a shared understanding of language and identifying harmful moments such as microaggressions that contribute to exclusion and inequity
  • Identifying disparity gaps in local communities where vulnerable populations are not having positive outcomes at the same rates as
  • Directing resources towards closing the disparity gaps
  • Including and elevating the voices of traditionally marginalized populations to make sure that United Ways are becoming allies and not directors of new strategies.
